Our story

Kiki Dance Collective is a leading dance school located in Hawthorn, established in 2003. We offer expert training in Classical Ballet (Cecchetti method), Contemporary Dance, and Hip Hop to students of all ages, in a warm, creative environment where every dancer feels welcome and inspired.

Our highly qualified staff are passionate about nurturing both technical excellence and artistic expression, with a particular specialisation in Contemporary Dance. We pride ourselves on innovative choreography that is brought to life each year through our celebrated end-of-year performance, a highlight of the Kiki Dance Collective calendar that the whole community looks forward to.

We warmly welcome students from Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Kew, Camberwell, Balwyn, Richmond, Malvern, Armadale and surrounding suburbs, proud to bring together dancers of all abilities in one inclusive, supportive space.

Community is the heart of Kiki Dance Collective. Founded by Katherine Weatherhead, a secondary school teacher with over 20 years of experience. Our school is built on a deep commitment to student wellbeing. Every dancer is encouraged to grow with confidence, connection and joy.
