Our story

Kiki Dance Collective is located in Hawthorn and was established in 2003. KikiDC offers professional training in Classical Ballet, Hip Hop and Contemporary dance to students of many ages. Our highly qualified and experienced staff aim to promote professional dance in a creative atmosphere of comfort and enjoyment. Our school specialises in the education of Contemporary Dance, whilst also offering ballet in the Cecchetti method and Hip Hop. Founder, Katherine Weatherhead, has over 10 years of experience working as a secondary school teacher and prioritises overall wellbeing of her students. There is a strong sense of community and belonging throughout the school. We are a technically strong dance school with innovative choreography, which is highlighted through our end of year performance.
